Description

Adds the Candy Kingdom from Adventure Time under the rule of Princess Bubblegum.

For Gods and Kings only.

Brave New World Version

Leader: Bonnibel Bubblegum

UA: Immortal Princess of Science: +25% Science in the Capital and a tech boost is earned whenever a science building or Wonder is built in the Capital.

UU: Banana Guard: Replaces the Pikeman, is a fair bit cheaper and recieves a combat bonus near the Capital.

UB: Candy Mass Factory: Replaces the Granary. +1 Science and +1 Production after researching Construction, as well as a Scientist Specialist Slot, however, its food yield bonus is applied to a less common set of resources (Sugar, Citrus and Banana).

Princess Bubblegum builds tall and almost always pursues a science victory. She is generally peaceful and friendly and focuses on city defense, growth and infrastructure. She has a moderate wonder flavour.

I, of course, do not own Adventure Time. Adventure Time is the property of Pendleton Ward and Cartoon Network. The lollipop I used for the icon is from Kirby so credit to Nintendo, as well. Several of the Civilopedia entries are based on information from adventuretime.wikia.com.

Critical feedback and balance concerns are very much welcome. Note that updates will break save games so you should finish any ongoing games before updating to a new version. Enjoy.

In my scenario series (WIP), PB is a vicious deceiver who murdered the King of Ooo during a meeting of all Ooo royalty, and declared herself High Empress of Ooo. This started a bloody civil war that saw Finn organize a loose coalition of kingdoms called the United Kingdoms of Ooo.

Later, after it was revealed that Flame Princess was once a human girl named Chloe, and that Flame Lord had mind-controlled her and Finn into breaking up, AND that Cinnamon Bun was a Candy Kingdom spy subtly influencing Flame Princess, the Fire Kingdom was dissolved, Cinnamon Bun was executed as a war criminal by the UKO, FP became Chloe, and she and Finn reconciled.

After several months of fighting, the Candy Kingdom was on the verge of victory. Finn and Chloe had been cornered while fighting PB at Bubblegum Castle, and were about to be killed when a joint assault by the Reunified States of America and Tokyo-3 was launched. Finn and Chloe were rescued, and the Candy Kingdom was all but destroyed.
