First of all, I've sunk way more hours into this game than is reasonable. It's a fun, relax after work kind of game. My biggest conflict point is when my patriarch is commanding armies, it really feels like there are too many events that lead to death. It feels like success/fail outcomes are 50/50, with fail meaning character death. That seems a little too punitive, especially when the death rate for generals was pretty low. Whenever I click on the settings tab the game just freezes and I can't do anything. Any thing I can do to fix this?

Anyone else seeing that steam achievements arent working? 0/17 ive played about 2-3 hours since the update nothing

When I try to open the setting menu the game freezees, I tried to uninstall-reinstall but to no avail.

I am a bit frustrated by the amount of my player characters that die from unpredictable random accidents or falls. I don't mind that it can happen. The percentage just seems very high and it's really frustrating when so many of my characters die quite young (in their 40s). Out of the 24 pater familias in my current family, 5 have died from a random accident and 2 have died from a fall. Both of these events killed them instantly, there wasn't an injury that eventually led to their death, they just suddenl...
