I bawled my eyes out at the ending,, really good, really really good.
not much of an rpg guy but it was worth it really! like, YES ididnt pick this back up for 466 days BUT it was worth the wait I gotta say! good good game, yep. 10/10, a bit long but eh worth it for the ending.

I finally get it.. 3 years ago my friend told me to play this ASAP, saying on here "Omori is the only game to date that has made me feel an emptiness after completion, wondering "What do I do now?"

I finally have played it. It's one of the greatest JRPGs of all time. The story is mysterious and beautiful which leaves you wondering what will happen next and want more.

The turned base combat is fun and satisfying, the difficulty in battles isn't too hard but at times isn't easy either. Giving depth in it's energy meter and combo moves, i never felt a battle as boring or stale.

The pixel art, hand drawn and photograph sections look incredible and give it a distinct yet familiar look and style.

The music ranges from cheery and goofy, to disturbing and spine tingling, to beautiful and surreal.

It wears it's influences proudly on its sleeves. If you are a fan of the Mother/EarthBound series, Undertale or Yume Nikki i highly suggest Omori to you. Even if you haven't played those games; if you enjoy turn based JRPG style games and are willing to immerse yourself in a heartfelt passionate story, give it a go.

Yeah, ok, I see why this game is well liked. Story hit like a truck.
