I picked up " Helltaker " on a whim 'cause it was free, and honestly? Totally worth it. It's a short little puzzle game where you play as this dude who literally goes to hell to build a harem of demon girls. Yeah, it’s as ridiculous and awesome as it sounds.
The puzzles are actually pretty solid. You’ve got limited moves to get through each level, and some of them made me stop and really think. It’s not super hard, but definitely not a total cakewalk either.
What really sold me, though, was the vibe. The characters are hilarious, the dialogue is witty, and the art is super clean and stylish. Each demon girl has her own personality, and it’s just fun seeing how your character interacts with them. Also, the soundtrack slaps—like, seriously. I wasn’t expecting metal to fit so well, but it totally does.
You can beat the whole game in like 30–60 minutes, but it leaves a strong impression. And again, it’s free. No catch. Just a fun little ride through hell with puzzles.
