Maybe this is a skill issue, but it's pretty clear this game was made by and for people who played a lot of Super Mario World romhacks growing up. Rather than the fun easygoing romp I expected in the same vein as the Mario games, I was greeted with a relentlessly difficult platformer that made me legitimately wonder if I'd somehow turned on the New Game+ Hard Mode by mistake. As early as world 2, I was being asked to make precision jumps with momentum-based controls that felt slippery even before I stumbled my way into the ice levels.

I really wanted to like the game, given the fun aesthetic and immaculate vibes (and lesbian foxgirls), but I really, really did not have fun and would struggle to recommend it.
