This small update has many improvements to the German localization

The Companion has received a very small update.

• Added ability to Invert Mouse X & Y separately.
  
• Main Menu is completely new, featuring the iconic Act III level

This update is primarily to add an extra input option for inverting the mouse.
The Main Menu changes are to keep consistency with how the game will appear on other platforms.

Main Menu change reduces the game size by 200 MB and should be quicker to load.

The Majestic continues the story originally laid out in The Companion. This game will be much larger and is set to answer some of the more pressing questions raised from The Companion, as well as introduce new mysteries.

This is an ambitious title with a much larger story, more characters, larger maps, and a completely different playing experience, flying! Greater emphasis is being placed on visuals, sound and music.

My aim is to make games that are immersive, story driven, and thought provoking. This trailer is the first step toward revealing one of the larger themes for this game. But it is only a small sample of what is to come.

In the coming months I strive to complete a demo of the game, and I hope the full experience will be complete sometime in 2024.

Relaxation Mode Details

• Listen to the extraordinarily beautiful soundtrack by composer Hew Wagner as you follow a Wisp through the stunning levels of The Companion.
  
  
• Includes all original 20 tracks as well as a bonus track only previously available by purchasing the official soundtrack.
  
  
• A great experience to have playing while you study, do chores, workout, entertain guests, or just looking to relax.
  
  
• Over 1 hour of music.
  
  
• Set to loop automatically.
  
  
• Features a dynamic "directed camera", providing imagery from a brand new perspective.
  
  
• Wisp & Camera pathing are randomly generated, providing a unique visual experience on each playthrough.
  
  
• Optionally: Mute the music and increase the ambience volume to create a Zen-like experience.

Game Improvements

• Music has been reimported into the game to use the final soundtrack quality version and is also less compressed within the game.
  
  
• Final event in the game has been tuned to be slightly easier.
  
  
• Main Menu screen has been updated to accommodate the new Relaxation Mode.
  
  
• Loading Splash screens have been visually updated.
  
  
• Implemented a small adjustment to the localization credits to mitigate some hitching when loading them.
  
  
• Fixed an issue with the Audio settings where setting volume levels to 0 would stop playing the audio track and the tracks would not resume when raised above 0. This applied to all types of audio: Music, dialogue, ambience, Sound FX. Now audio resumes where it would naturally be.
  
  
• In conjunction with the above fix, the Master Volume slider will not completely mute the sound when at 0, to mute sounds, set the individual sliders to 0, or Pause the game to stop all sound.
  
  
• Fixed an issue with some music in some Visions that would not pause if the game is paused.
  
  
• Increased starting resources when revisiting levels.
  
  
• Some Highlights have been added to buttons on the Main Menu when using the Gamepad.

I have pushed a very small Hotfix that will hopefully address most "Falling Through World" issues.

If your character ends up falling through the world, exiting and then "continuing" your saved game should fix the problem.

If the game can't find a place to put your character, you should end up at the default start location for the level.

I've opened up a little more of the first level to allow running to the towers and explore a little more of that side of the map.

• Because it's the first thing everyone seems to want to do, you can now visit two of the Towers in the first level :)

Revisiting a level should be relaxing and free to play at your leisure. This change allows you to experience any part of the level again without needing to grind out every artifact and vision. It also helps a couple achievements if you missed them the first time through. (Does not help with the 90 Runes achievement).

• When Revisiting a level, all Visions will be unmasked and unlocked.

This update focuses mainly on very annoying bugs. Many of these could cause great confusion or frustration when encountered. I hope these fixes prove to have eliminated them for good.

• Fixed a Vision in Act 3 that would always inexplicably fail and then require doing a 2nd time to Succeed.
  
  
• Fixed a possible bug with final vision in Act 5
  
  
• Dialogue Volume has been adjusted a little lower across the board.
  
  
• Music that emits from an Activated Vision can be heard from further away (over twice the distance).
  
  
• Attempted to fix a possible bug in the Game's Finale event where a trigger sometimes wouldn't activate.
  
  
• Corporeal ground indicator at finale event in Prologue Part 2 has been made larger and more obvious.
  
  
• Fixed a Bug at the start of the game where if the Essence Help Window came up before the Input Help window, it would prevent you from dismissing the help box entirely and would force you to reload the game.
  
  
• Fixed some floating objects in Act 4
  
  
• Attempted a fix where sometimes the game forgets you Completed it and you lose access to Revisiting all levels.
  
  
• Fixed a Bug with the "creature" Visions in Acts 3 & 5. The Pillar of Light could disappear and then require exiting and loading back into the saved game to see them again.

This update focuses on smoothing out some of the gameplay that might feel grindy & drag on a bit. There are also more visual and audio aids so there is not a complete reliance on the Wisp ability.

• If a Save File exists that is further progressed, you now get a prompt before being allowed to save over it.
  
  
• Japanese Localization updated.
  
  
• Fixed an Artifact that could potentially spawn under a rock in Act 5
  
  
• Main Menu buttons adjusted, this may fix some instances where the mouse wouldn't align correctly.
  
  
• Fixed the UI Element for "Spirit Attack" charges. It would disappear when moving to the next Act.
  
  
• Runic Stones have indicators to let you know how many have been activated in the level. (90 Stone Achievement still only completable in a single playthrough)
  
  
• Wisp Trail lingers for a little longer to make it easier to follow.
  
  
• Footsteps should be audible now.
  
  
• Fixed Bug with Runic Stones in the Prologue Levels, not saving properly & not remembering which were interacted with.
  
  
• Fixed a Bug in Act 1 where after delivering the Flowers, the accompanying Vision could sometimes not activate after Saving and Reloading the game.

Artifacts stand out a bit more to hopefully reduce reliance on the Wisp ability, which also helps reduce Essence grind.

• Artifacts have a larger particle effect and some lighting effect to help stand out even more

Four updates to Visions to assist players in locating them more easily and be less reliant on Wisps, helping to reduce Essence Grind and also speed up play:

• Particle FX Update for unmasked Visions, more particles in a wider area of the Vision.
  
  
• A new sound effect plays when you interact with an Artifact. This sound effect comes from the direction of the newly unmasked Vision.
  
  
• A large particle effect plays when a Vision is newly unmasked
  
  
• Pillar of Light is much larger & higher, can be seen from greater distances away.

Spirit Rush ability is available 1 level sooner and will propel the player further and faster after reaching tiers 2 & 3.

• Spirit Rush ability now acquired after summoning 25 animals at the Tree, instead of 50 (Ability can now be acquired in Act 1)
  
  
• Spirit Rush ability has a tier 2 & 3 which increase distance/speed once 50 & 64 animals have been summoned at the tree

Item tasks and a few Visions required a lot of Essence due to Corporeal expiring quickly. Duration is now twice as long. (Note: Duration improves as more Runic Stones are interacted with, this has always been a feature).
