Okay, I just won 1st try with flawless nights(not a single mob made it into the town) and heres some of my thoughts: 1. Short and long bows are too strong. During the 5th wave I just had 2 archers with short/long bows standing right in front of the mist and deleting everything before they could even reach the walls. Just mass stun with longbow and then spam aoe attacks with shortbow -> go melee and finish whats left of the enemies with the 2nd shortbow attack. The crit+mana from crits build makes sure you...

For those who have survived and were victorius, how did you do it?!

Oodles of stats and RPG mechanics. Upgrade the town! Do worker placement like a euroboardgame! Build structures like a tower defense! Play a watered down FF Tactics game due to the sheer volume of enemies! There's so much going on, but it didn't really mesh into anything interesting. I didn't feel like I had super meaningful decisions each turn, especially compared to something like Into the Breach which achieved much more player agency with much less cruft....

Hi, There's many games these days calling the first section of their game a prologue. With some games, this is an actual small game unto itself (i.e. a real prologue - whether or not it is included in the final game doesn't matter), but I've come across a few games now where it is the first few levels/events of the final game. What happens in the latter case is that people that have played the prologue end up having to replay the prologue segment in the final game, a circumstance I would personally like...

I'm waiting to see how the game pans out, but as far as this prologue goes. It's game-play feels shallow.
