TLDR: The development and bugfixes is slow, but sans that, the game is worth the money and worth trying until inevitable boredom wall. For reference, the game can lose progress of what weapons you discovered and want to be more likely to encounter in the future.

Let me be clear, this cripples the game. Losing the one element that carries between runs (after you max out your favourite character), and lets you further experiment with your favourite builds wrecks replayability.

(INB4 "Just verify game files" no, shut up, tried 3 different machines with 2 clean installs each. This is a game, its code is not made of ball-bearings with some plastic around them. I do not want to (nor should have to) fidget around with them. If I wanted to eff around, rebuilding a game into a playable state I'd buy one from fu*king bethesda)

The fact that I am able to put up with this bullsh*t is a testament to how fun the gameplay can be, but dear god is it frustrating to have the game go "oh woopsie doopsie, we weset your pwogwess. We pwomise to fix it in the twelth wupdate since the bug was wepowted".

I am RELUCTANTLY giving this game an upvote due to net positive flood of dopamine of the nailgun, the flamethrower, and having an army of summons brought me offsetting the urge to turn my keyboard into a boomerang after enduring the situation in the above paragraph for the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th time.

If you somehow have enough money (and poor judgement) in this economy to be able to spend it on a fun experience with a disappointing ending that lasted less than an hour, DM me so I can send you the address to my bedroom. But if you like burning money (and don't want me to DM you my paypal), go ahead and get this game and grab a tank of hopium. Otherwise, add it to wishlist and wait until its able to be replayed without having Venezuela-level corruption on your saves.

Start off with the Breacher. Bought a revolver. He runs out of ammo halfway through the second map without any ability to get more ammo. So the run is over. The game doesn't throw you a bone by having enemies drop a little ammo. There's no ammo box somewhere on the level, so maybe you can rush to it and get some more. Nope. You just can't progress. What kind of game design is that?

IT'S GOOD EVEN ON OLD i3'S AND AMD 380'S.
