exactly as stated, I hit play, screen goes black as the game starts, then comes back to steam as the game crashed right there. NVIDIA drivers version 546.17

Some users may have had their NVIDIA graphics drivers installed through Windows Update, specifically version 545.37. This driver has been observed to cause crashes with the game and should not be used to play Darwinia. Darwinia isn't the only game affected by this, Halo Infinite also reported instability with that driver. Please get your NVIDIA graphics drivers directly from their website...
