The tedium of this style of point and click game is very expected and completely fine. The humor's not my thing and it works for the most part, but I found out that there's a strangely easy to get softlock (regarding a pirate and his unwillingness to alter a card) that I ran into halfway into playing the game and that soured my patience thinking that there might be other ways to stop progressing entirely. I ended up following a guide for the rest and that was not very fun. I cannot recommend it because of that issue.
