Steam Cloud is now cross compatible between windows and mac.

(Steam Deck <-> Windows has always been compatible and continues to be)

As always:

InfraSpace is a completed game, but we still support it with bugfixes.
If you encounter bugs, let us know in the comments or on our forum or discord and we'll fix them in the next major update.

Why is traffic flow so incredibly stupid?

In spite of all of the controls available for it, traffic simply refuses to be intelligent. Put down multiple routes? Doesn't matter, they will never use alternate routes and insist on using the straightest path to their destination regardless of how bad traffic is that way. Set up train stations? Won't work if there's a road route to your destination, ever. It is absolutely infuriating that there is just no way to work with this disaster of a traffic system to get it to not behave in the least effect...

Why don't cars ignore roads with high traffic?

It says in the game that cars always choose the shortest way not considering traffic. It seems more like a shortcoming

There's a few odd design choices in this game that makes it not make sense.
For example, and I think this sums it up. You can create a little community completely separate from the main community, including any access to ways for people to get to the smaller community. People get there anyway.
The rest of the game kind of follows suit. Nothing quite makes sense.
It's good, but I don't feel like it should be anything but early access at this stage.
