or one of the many other studios that has been bringing these games to modern expectations it looks so fun but hearing that the magic rune system is completely broken is a bummer. still might buy it tho

at the start of the game, just got my first spell i tried it on the torches and on the fireplace and nothing. i can see i am casting because of the glow and stuff (CTRL+LMB) but nothing ignited, what am i missing?

How do you begin to understand solving this puzzle? I totally know that there are guides that spell it out, but if I actually wanted to solve the puzzle, where is there any information in game. I honestly don't even fully understand how to interact with the rotating stones and the 6 markings I have for it. Skyrim picture matching puzzles haz made me dumb ...

I must be stupid because I cant find the answer, only information on how to complete the quest. I just finished the game for the first time, explored the crypt on level 7 myself and gave up not knowing how to progress (there was no ghosts in there). Once I finished I started reading about things I missed and found out about the ghost. I didn't even think to give the ring(s) back to Alia or the snakes so thought it might be related to that....
