Super Auto Pets is a charming auto-battler where players build teams of adorable animals, each with distinct abilities, and compete in automated matches. The game features Arena Mode, where you strive to win ten rounds before being eliminated, and Versus Mode, a knockout-style competition.

Though its visuals are simple and endearing, the game play offers unexpected depth, requiring players to experiment with pet synergies and refine strategies. Only get 1 pack and the rest are paid. They do have a rotating free random pack but sometimes there is just too much going on in the pack for me to find it fun/learn it for just the limited time. Fun for a bit but without real pack variety it gets stale. I'm not against giving money to a good game but I don't like games that restrict a lot of its content behind a paywall.

You'll often get a string a runs where it feels like you just can't get an upgrade. No chocolate or animals for your team. You'll spend all 12 gold on rerolls multiple turns and get nothing. Then you go against the guy who was given every upgrade imaginable+good scalers. Oh but that final round, just before you lose, you'll get all your upgrades on the last reroll. Great.

People will probably say skill issue but I've gotten most of the level 3 achievements for the turtle pack. I know how to use the systems to increase my chances. I know how to build good teams. I just have the worst RNG imaginable in games. Also, no I don't normally just spend all my gold on rerolls. I will grab food items. Sometimes the only real thing holding your team back for multiple runs is being 0/2 level 1. It gets frustrating to basically be lucked out of your runs for an entire hour without a single promising run.
