but i have no tolerance for developers who dump their servers after a few years and force you to buy the next clone. so will this game still be up n running years from now?

Well, I'm close to giving up on this game. I spent a bunch of time trading and signing players to build a win-now team. That part was fun. On paper, it looks like I definitely have a playoff caliber team. But I am losing most of the games. I manage every pitch, and shift when appropriate etc. My main problem seems to be that all of my hitters are hitting poorly despite having excellent hitting-related stats. They rarely get hits even against poor pitchers. Any suggestions?...

So my owner wants me to upgrade the catcher position yet resign an expensive old catcher I can't even afford at the same time. I have a young catcher with five star potential as it is. The old guy wants a 4 year deal that will brake the bank. It just makes no sense. Does any one else have strange conflicting owner goals?...

Over the past five years the annual OOTP has added fewer and fewer features and even gotten rid of a few. The store page for OOTP 24 cites a single addition to gameplay--a refinement of how BABIP works. Wow. Amazing. Meanwhile, the performance of the actual game is noticeably worse than (for example) OOTP 17. Oh, and then there's the microtransaction mode. I know it has an actual name, but it's really just Ultimate Team from Madden or the equivalent thereof from any other major sports title. But hey, there...
