Been waiting on gura to be added to the game as a playable character. I refuse to play again till y’all do officially. She’s about to graduate honor her memory by adding her into the game! I think one thing that has horribly damaged this game's ability to significantly take off is a complete lack of onboarding

Over the years I have had a decent amount of experience with fighting games, can't say my skill is noteworthy or anything but I very much know my way around them. I have tried to get into Idol Showdown so many times, I want to like this game so badly but I'm not a lab monster, being told "This character does rushdown, this character moves well and this one does strong grabs" and NOTHING ELSE for guidance is not something I can work off of! While not my cup of tea and i don't understand any of the references, this is competently made fighting game.

It's rather fast which is good, movement feels a little janky but overall good and it has some funny looking moves. For example i got juggled by some rabbit looking character across the screen into the corner with the combo ending with multi-hit explosion. It was pretty sick. It showcased the potential of the game in the best kind of way.

It has active players which is good. Being free when all the other fighting games are incredibly expensive is a huge bonus.

I think the character voices are annoying to listen to, but this isn't for me anyway.
