i really enjoyed the game but got one of the bad endings. didnt have multiple saves. I want to try for a different ending but i dont want to do everything again, chores, mazes etc. also the fast forward function kinda sucks. is there a way to get other endings with having to play the entire game multiple times?...

To be honest, I was quite disappointed with this game. I expected the world to be much larger, with more mysteries and secrets to uncover. There are very few meaningful choices, and time and resource management are almost nonexistent.

A huge part of my playtime was spent just running around all available locations during each time period, looking (and hoping) for something new—but there was rarely anything to find, aside from small new dialogues with villagers and a few untracked, very simple quests (like “go ask someone about something”).

On a side note: I enjoyed the Japanese voice acting, but there are too few voiced lines, and at times it becomes very annoying—especially when characters just keep repeating each other’s names. Full voice acting would have made a big difference! Is it really that expensive?

Despite all that, LGTS is still a very beautiful, special and enjoyable game, so I am leaving positive review.

Why I stopped playing

I love this game and I want to continue playing but I really dislike that 1. You are forced to answer a suspicion question right after doing good on a mini game without having a chance to save. 2. You can have a date with a girl and have it completely wasted cause you made the wrong choices during the date and the game doesn't make that clear at all. (This is really the main reason I stopped playing. I have to load such an old save to fix this.) 3. The glitch where the game soft locks if you interact with...

Any reason for the lesbian romances?

I'm genuinely confused about this. How is it that, in a game that is actually set in the real world in "early modern" (read: 1600s-1700s), complete with suspicion of different religions and strict Christian monotheism/social roles and all, are lesbian relationships tacitly accepted by the townspeople? It is very strange to me, considering a major mechanic of the game involves young girls being suspected of witchcraft, which, historically, has *always* been a way to disenfranchise and persecute "different"...
