For the devs: the quest of finding Quran due to it being lost and islands not having guidance is actually self-contradictory to Islam itself. This is because we do not need written Quran. Title. How many hours of gameplay are in this game? I'm looking for something to sink my teeth into, and while I'm guessing this isn't a 100+ hour game (could be wrong here) I'm hoping this is a 40+ hour one at least :-)

I don't expect anyone to create a hi-definition remaster of Islands of the Caliph, but the game definitely supports modding. If this is something players are interested in, I can even incorporate a level designer. Note: I have never done this before so I am not sure how much effort will go into this. For now you can actually change and update any of the textures and even models if you have the right software....

full disclosure, I am playing on linux. However, the game worked fine the first few times I tried it. I don't expect the developer to spend any time on linux specific issues. I still noticed a few things after the updates which might be useful to look into. I admit i could just be doing something wrong, but here we go: first, I swear I was able to save games the first few runs. Am I just wrong about that? is the demo a no-saves-allowed demo? As it is now, I can use any save slot and it looks like it works...
