RCG2 is an interesting second game, it's more of the good stuff with Misako and Kyoko, you also get Kunio and Riki right off the bat along with two unlockable characters, oh and 2 DLC characters 2 if ya wanted, they all have their own unique combo's too, there's new bosses, new areas, new music which is really good, a fun amount of enemy variety at that too dood.

Okay the full review, so the game is again is much like the first one, it's a beat em up among beat em ups in my eyes as it does a fantastic job of of stringing a bunch of combo's together while also not making so difficult that it feels like a fighter where there's that level of skill gap that not everyone can make a good fun combo without a lot of practice, each character with their unique combo's can really make some great unique strings of combo's, some I can see being even better in co-op mode with friends dood!

You level up in the game and yet ironically the bulk of your stats actually come from eating food, levels really give you a few stats and unlock skills to buy in the dojo like the first game, money comes from enemies and doing quests, you get accessories that have a variety of effects too that you can get from shops along with food dood.

Bosses are...they are a spectacle and fun to watch but I put emphasis on watch, the game loves to have a lot of attacks and moments of invulnerability while you have to awkwardly avoid those attacks, it's not the most fun ever honestly, especially when they can go on for a bit too long at times but they are certainly unique and fun enough on an overall scale dood.

The maps are a good size and the quests and even main quests can kind of drag on and get you to do a lot of back and forth, which isn't so bad in some areas with the bus travel but can get a bit much at times due to those quests but it is a nice expansion dood.

The game has assist characters who you can catch and even get back in home base which I don't believe was in the first game unless I've forgotten which is nice but you now also have hires who for $5 (not much at all!) are a much more powerful alternative that are pretty fun to have, heck one is frankly just cheating but I won't spoil who it is dood XD

And that's about it, if there's anything I could say that could be fixed I'd personally say giving the player a choice of difficulty on NG+ it's meant to be a reward not a punishment and there's already a hard mode option as is, it's not the most difficult granted, especially with all the heals you can have but I was never into forced difficulty increase in that manner dood.

But yeah the games great and the new characters are real fun, it's nice to see it got a second game and there's a lot here that many beat em ups could really benefit from, especially in making them more fun than ever, hopefully if you get the game you enjoy it too, thanks for reading dood ^-^7

I love this game ive 100% on xbox when it came out now im doing it for steam what an amazing game better combos and more moves and more areas but and dont get me wrong i love it but more back and forth side missions which was not in the first game but 10/10
