An excellent remake of a daring crossover!

The game is simply superb and the only thing I wish to add is that the original felt more like Lovecraft entered the world of Sherlock Holmes while the remake is Holmes entering the world of Lovecraft.

Really enjoyed this combination of hard omni-logical protag versus the truly un-understandable. Performances are great across the board with few exceptions, and the chill and thrill of the eldritch adventure is excellently done. I did have a few moments where i needed a walkthrough. Some of those are my dumb fault, but some of them are...questionable. Don't feel bad about reaching for a walkthrough. A couple moments require more than a bit of scouring, and having a walkthrough to save you time will prevent your experience from souring due to frustration. It's not an expert-level brain teaser. I'm nothing special and managed to get most of everything myself. I also really appreciate the effect it has on Sherlock. Always appreciate when a piece of media doesn't just reset everything back to the status quo after an episode.

The story line is intriguing, though the clue building is a little slow because I'm simply use to being able to make a character run instead of them casually walking everywhere. Even with the quick travel options. Still, has a great immersive environment and I enjoy being able to have optional interactions with characters.
