(Chapter III - Final)

For days, the people responded to the call. In the square of Ullathorpe, in front of the fountain, Governor Robert welcomed the adventurers and their backpacks filled with Arachnid Oothecas. The best were rewarded with keys to the deepest levels of the Catacombs and appointed protectors.
Peace seemed to have been established again; Thorgin could finally continue building his tavern, and some miners returned to the tunnels in search of coal.

The next morning, reality awoke everyone: the miners appeared torn to pieces, their bodies bearing cuts, bruises, and pustules where the poison dripped in drops. The only survivor was Murgan, a young orc with close-cropped hair and a somewhat vacant look, covered in bandages and wearing a sling on his arm. He is quickly brought before the governor.

“Lord Robert, I'm sorry. The group grew complacent, thinking it was all over. We went deeper still in search of new minerals. We found the first levels empty, just as they were before the spiders, but when we entered a corridor we had never explored before, we saw her.

A spider as horrible as it was giant, barely able to enter the tunnels, let out a shriek so loud and high-pitched that we had to cover our ears. Within seconds, spiders surrounded us. They were different, much bigger, stronger, and faster than the previous ones. We began to run; some stumbled, others lost their torches, remaining in the darkness below.

It was a miracle I survived, but the slaughter of the huntsman spiders and their eggs awakened the mother, and she's coming for us.”

Defend the city of Ullathorpe from the attack of Ghulvara, the Matriarch Arachnid.

Rein of the Arachnid Mutant for 5 characters who complete the main quest.
Exp/Gold rewards for those who complete the 3 side quests.
