been waiting to get the game for a while now, and youtubers are calling it a scam is it true?

When will companies learn? Starfield was horrible too. Star Citizen just makes every space exploration game irrelevant. Star Citizen is a game no company can compete with, not even Disney.

I am also late to the party but yes "singleplayer" Dual Universe is coming in August. -no subscription -play solo or with friends on your own server (if ur pc is good enough) -connect to other "privat" servers if you want -standalone version has a fixed price if i understand it correctly -full version of the game but not sure yet -creative mode like minecraft has sounds pretty good to me but playing DU solo sounds kinda boring... Subscription models SUCK. We tried to tell you all throughout development but the devs never listened to us. Remember just how many testers there were pre launch, then a week after launch this game was crickets. Pax Dei is now making the same mistake. Doubling down on a horrid subscription model and now they cant even lure enough people in to test it. The sub model is dead or at least very very very niche reserved only for the most amazing of games....

This game is dying from what I hear and its so unique, everyone hates the subscription model so why not give up on it and either go free to play with paid cosmetics, or Upfront payment with paid DLC which are 1000x better than the subscription model which is by far top 3 worst game models to date....
