⚒️ Fixes

Fixed practice mode not working correctly when entering from the results screen of a Custom Track
Fixed practice mode not displaying a menu highlight for Custom Music
Fixed missing Rift VFX config for custom counterparts

🪲 Known issues

Some custom tracks may not change difficulties correctly via the pause menu
Exiting a boss battle tutorial will return the player to the top of the Story Mode menu
After completing a boss battle it's possible to see all boss portraits in the menu when scrolling up and down the list
The kerning on text in artist names is broken if the name contains 'GI'
Boss battles sometimes do not load the correct difficulty if Play Back-to-Back is enabled
An animation bug occurs in Show Time! Hard difficulty that makes the game more difficult to play than intended
NVIDIA graphics card settings may cause framerate issues. Workaround: Edit the SaveData file (via C:\Users\your username\AppData\LocalLow\Brace Yourself Games\Rift of the NecroDancer) and set the FramerateLimit value to match your monitor's refresh rate (e.g. 60, 144, etc.)
Japanese and Chinese fonts do not display punctuation correctly
New High Score banner sometimes doesn't display correctly (both in Remix and in Custom Music)
Assist indicators for the minigames can disappear occasionally

Pizza Tower DLC doesn't have a music pack? Only part of bundles?

Noticed that while there is a Celeste music pack that only includes the DLC songs (not bundled with the game), there is not a music pack like this for the Pizza Tower songs, and while the pricing is only small difference, it seems getting the Rift + Pizza Tower + Pizza Tower songs bundle costs more than getting the Celeste music pack. I don't know if this is an error in how the pizza tower pack was put onto the steam store, but I figured it would be worth mentioning, since, again, while the price differenc...

What difficulty do you play?

I tried to publish a custom song and made it something between hard and impossible, i marked it as impossible but dont think it is that hard, but after reading some comments i think its better to make medium or hard songs because the majority of the players dont like impossible difficulty. What do you guys think? if anyone is curious its titled vs Red on workshop...

Uhhh... Custom level's audio won't play??

I made a new custom level, set the audio offset for the music to 75ms. It worked fine in the level editor, like i could hear the music and everyth. When I tried to play it in the game itself, there's just...... no music. Looking in the level select in game, for some reason it says the length of the track is..... 405:47. The actual length of the track is 4 minutes....

If you have at any point installed a mod to Rift of the NecroDancer, you may find that the game no longer launches correctly or experiences strange bugs during gameplay. Before launching this newest update, please make sure that you have uninstalled any mod launchers (ie BepInEx, MelonLoader)! You will also need to find and delete the file winhttp.dll within the game install folder if it exists.

For a fully-featured rhythm game, twenty bucks feels pretty worth it. I had no issues with calibration and a ton of fun learning the game's unique mechanics. There's even a story mode that gives a bit of connective tissue between the songs and extra motivation to try them all. Beautiful stuff. Highly recommended if you like pure rhythm games.

My only two points of critique are that the Rhythm Heaven-style minigames feel awkwardly trial-and-error without any tutorials, and that the boss fights have confusing cues and unclear feedback. Both the minigames and the boss fights are just fun little bonuses and not the main event, though, but I'd be remiss to not mention them.

2 Questions about the supporter outfit

1. Can I turn the supporter outfit on/off in the in-game option? (not outside the game) 2. If the answer for 1 is no, can I turn the supporter outfit on/off outside the game by turning the outfit dlc on/off? --- I want to buy the supporter outfit, but I'm hesitating because buying it might block me from using the original outfit....
