One of the most boring and bland games I've ever had a chance to witness.
I have enjoyed Odyssey thoroughtly, even finished the whole storyline in it - perhaps it was the world, or the fact I didn't play AC games since AC Rogue until then.
I don't feel like doing that at all in this one.

Definitely skipping all entries from the series from this point on. Ubisoft - please do us a favour and declare bankruptcy and close down. Thanks.

Well, maybe someone has said this, but I will affirm that again. This game is worth if you are interested in Norse Mythology, since the vision of Ubisoft intervened the stories of the Norse Gods I think it was kinda eye-catching. Beside that, personally I see that even though the open world in this game is unnecessarily massive, it is still the game with the closest essence to the OG AC games in term of stealth combat (like the instant-kill), and i'm sure the contents in this massive open world map are enough to make you keep playing this. And for the Viking cultures in the game, I wouldn't say it is historically accurate or something, but many fantasies/stereotypes merged into the worldview. Nevertheless, giving it a shot is worth the time (especially when you have too much free time lol), it still pointed out interesting aspects about the Viking era and the conflict between them and the Anglo-Saxons, I consider this as one of the fine viking games, excluding the Assassin's Creed title.

In conclusion, if you like the Mythology revolving around Norse Gods (mainly Odin), you are into the Viking hype ♥♥♥♥ no matter the stereotypes/fantasies incorporated within it (like the Vikings show), you are a big fan of Open World RPG or just wanting to know more about the deeper AC lore and how it connected to history regardless of the "berserker-like" gameplay that the boomers of the "old AC nostalogia" are roasting about (imo ACV did a good job about balancing the old and the new combat styles compared to the 2 previous games of the trilogy lmao). Then, just buy this game, it is worth quite a part of your money and time.

Oh and remember the minor bugs still exist, but in a hilarious way, it won't affect your experience much. Have fun.

One of the most truly "open world" open world games I've ever played. Everything is climbable, everything is accessible. Combat is tricky but fun, and I could spend hours just riding and sailing around in this gorgeous world.
