I wish Steam had a 'I do recommend this game except' or a 'this game is fun to me but I can definitely see how it's not for somebody else'. It's relatively barebones with things like cosmetics, decorations, and the gameplay loop is very repetitive.

I like seeing numbers go up and I love collecting creatures, but the gaps between fish packs and upgrades can seem intimidating money-wise, and can take a while to reach even while actively playing. Is it fun? Yes, to me, anyway. Is it in-depth and does it have a lot of replayability/staying power? Not really. Does it have the potential to end up a mindless, frustrating grind? Yes.

Like, all you really do is: Buy fish pack. Open fish pack. Grow fish. Sell fish. Buy stuff you need. Repeat. You can feed them manually and add (very limited) decorations to the tanks, change the pebbles/lights, and that's it.

Also, if you don't like that you have to be randomly pulling from packs to get the fish you need, it'll probably get frustrating very quickly. So I won't say I don't recommend this game, but it wouldn't surprise me if somebody tried this and got bored of it very quickly.
