Started spooky, ended with me questioning my life choices somewhere around hallway #47. Among Ashes wants to be deep and terrifying, but mostly feels like a haunted house put together by your overly enthusiastic cousin armed with a fog machine and big dreams.

It’s raw, it’s clunky, and it stretches every scene like it’s getting paid by the minute. There’s potential buried in there - somewhere - but right now it feels more like wandering through a spooky museum, where half the exhibits are still being unpacked.

Worth a try if you’re into eerie walks and unfinished business.

Loved this game! Great atmosphere, good jump scares, simple but fun puzzles :)
