Disclaimer: I am only at sector 77, so it's possible the game does something to mitigate this that I'm aware of. That said, the further I get into the game, the more annoying having one of my V Device slots functionally locked into the battle shard becomes. It feels like I only *actually* have 4 slots, and the competition for those slots is becoming stiffer and stiffer. Especially as new shards like the Materializer shard and Capital shard are coming online... I would *kill* for a late game upgrade that ...

Challenges are exactly why I stopped playing Idling to rule the Gods, I don't want to have to learn how to play the same game 800 quadrillion different ways. I start playing the game, I learn the mechanics of the game, but to progress I now need to do these dreadful challenges that completely flip around how the game is played. I hate them, so much so that I'm leaning towards a negative review because of them, they're that bad and ruin the game completely. Please make them optional, making them mandatory ...

This is by far the best portion of the game. Even with the armor balance issues and several weapon upgrade lines that are all but completely useless due to the rate of enemy scaling, this mode is far more enjoyable to engage with than everything else in the game post challenges. I'm sure you'll continue to work on the balance and scaling issues, but one thing I'd recommend is that active runs can get a further bonus for carrying on past the 10 count marker other than stacking up for auto run credits....

If you build a synth component during a challenge that you normally have infinite unlocked, do you get experience? Like could I go into a synth challenge to grind for more synth points?
