i was able to get past the lack of explanation over how to do almost anything (hooray for mashing buttons to figure out how i accidentally did a backstep and then further figuring out the timing to chain them etc.), but the clunky controls ended up ruining the experience for me i am happy there was an update since the 2006 version for graphics and sound, but gameplay is more important to me and i would have preferred tightening the controls to updating the aesthetics i see there is a growing consensus th...

I missed my chance to buy it years ago when it was available due to low funds. Now that that is less of an issue it isn't here on my preferred platform. Yes, I could get it on other platforms but using my PC and the Steam controller are so much more convenient and comfortable in my situation....

Don't. Controls are shot. As in completely shot to the point of being utterly unplayable. Don't make the same mistake I did with getting sucked in by the low price. Complete waste. If it's the case that it requires precision then once again I would have passed. Not everyone has the skill for that which will lead to frustration and buyers remorse, and then there are many, like me, who are not physically able to do quick precision which leads again to frustration...
