An amazing game, once I start it's hard to put it down. If you've played slay the spire, there are similarities to card mechanics and items that would likely be your thing in this one. But they expand further on those ideas with pseudo-crafting for permabuffs, a very interesting story to follow along on, and a challenging difficulty that I found very fun despite not playing too many card battler games. Thse style of the path generation is something I found really unique too, so i'd say if you love difficult card battlers, this game is amazing!

Highly recommended! This is a solo dev or a very small team but they drop content and balancing every month! The way their updates are written show their care as well. Just for that alone I would highly recommend it.

The game itself is super fun, it's a very good card game roguelike with an option to create your own deck or pick ''classes''. You keep playing through a campaign where you have to ''gather'' resources to upgrade your house that gives you buffs for the playthroughs. After 20 hours I didn't get every single upgrade yet, but I did feel like i have seen most of it. That is the only shame, that there wasn't more of the game.

Tremendeous work in every aspect. I was searching in all deckbuilder games one that comes close to the cleverness and fun as in slay the spire.

Well, the Art and Soundeffect in this Masterpiece are fantastic and outstanding. The Music in the streets are my style and fits the mood perfectly (reminds me of one of the brilliant soundtrack of UFO: Enemy Unknown).
Just the music at fights gets not repetitive at all, but boring and nerves after a while. To choose which music in the options would be fantastic, or even to select own soundtracks.

There are so many great design choices, even the Gas system i love, as it gives a little of thrill, but you can lower it while you upgrade your "home".

Some very little, minor grammatic failures, but the cards are so well translated, they are self-explanatory. No missunderstandings left in german. Well done!

I hope this game gets more buyers, as it deserves way more attention in my opinion. If they team behind this game, flesh it more out with many content, im sure it can get successful as Slay the Spire is.

I'm want more of Bosses variety, minions, mutations, synergies, events, art style to explore, and much more music titles i could choose from and when it is played.

What could be improved in my eye: The limited options-menu, no bigger view of cards, that the brain in a sanatorium are so expensive to fill up, and i need more to upgrade in my "home". Oh, and sometimes it would be helpful to have a button to view the street while i have to chose something and sometimes i cant see my gas and brain/life status bar, but have the options to fill it up, but don't remember how much of it was left.


Summasummarum: Ye, finally i have, aside slay the spire, one title more i'm in total love with.

Other than that, Menace From the Deep is a nice improvement on the deckbuilding roguelite formula. The way the journey unfolds in a more narrative way, with meaningful locations drawn from decks rather than being sterile little nodes on a flowchart, is a wonderful breath of fresh air. The abilities and items are fun, and the enemies are interesting.

I'd strongly suggest just turning off the voice acting and skipping the dialogue in campaign mode. They are not worth sitting through, but other than that, this game is a good time.

I'm a big fan of many kinds of roguelike, specially deckbuilders.
This one is a fresh take on the genre, many inovative and interesting mechanics and VERY beatiful art. Definetely worth the purchase.

Also, the art is amazing, had to mention that again.

The road to infinity power:
1. Pick endless and longer road
2. Try to get all the relic in the game through museum, elite boss and by relic from merchant
3. Become so powerful that the monster can't even touch you
4. Become Cthulhu himself

The only stop on your endless power is adding unrelated card to your deck. But in the end you can always end the boss fight in 2 turn anyway. 10/10 would recommend.
