prepare for a tabor like dlc infestation

I just got this game a few days ago. I can find scav missions pretty okay. But when I am yet to find a single Contractor mission. I have tried 15 times with wait times over 5 minutes each. I live in Australia. But i never have this trouble with American servers on any game. My ping is fine. I just want something to tell me or reassure me that I didn't waste my time buying this game because it seems like I have. Does anyone have any reasons or ways to find a single match? I know its still alpha and still growing but I would like to eventually see a separate solo game mode. Teams are still player hunting immediately upon spawning since we're all still spawned right next to each other, at least on suburb. There is NO WAY a solo can defend against 3 players with coms. My friends and I played the game together and had a great time fighting the tough scavs and PMC NPCs.
