While I still feel this game has a long way to go content wise. The fundamentals are there for something I'm looking forward to keeping my eye on. I've been a long time SSX fanboy ever since I played the first iteration on my PS2. This has the feel of what I was looking for in a modern take on the classic games. With that said, this game is DEFINITELY best enjoyed with a controller. The keyboard controls are like speed-running carpal tunnel.

Given some time, I can see this becoming something up there, if not on the same playing field as the classics made by EA BIG. Right now however, you'd be paying to support a project that still needs time to cook. I'm really looking forwards to future content being added here.

Just, please don't take it the route EA did with SSX 2012. Words can't begin the describe how disappointing it was for what would've been normal unlocks being put behind a monetization system that required you to high risk gamble, or fork over real cash for cosmetics and literal OP upgrades to your character.

Overall, if you want to support a project that shows some real promise; then I recommend supporting this developer. If you're looking for a feature complete SSX experience, come back after some time has passed. Either way, keep an eye on this gem.

SSX Tricky is one of my all time favorite games and there is no doubt in my mind this will be it's spiritual successor. I recommend this game if you wish to support the Developer. This game still needs polish, buts its clear that its headed to meet (or exceed) my nostalgic expectations. [NOTE TO DEV: Please continue to capture the over the top nature of tricky, none of the other titles went as H.A.M. then on the slopes in tricky.]

Don't buy if you expect a fully developed game. Wishlist it and pay a lot more later. If you like SSX Tricky (or the other revisions) then this purchase is already in your cart, you just don't know it yet.
