Yo Jagged Alliance fans, Let's be honest. The game is almost 30 years old. Back in those days, the computer screens were so much smaller. Thus on my current screen Jagged Alliance is just sooo big. Is there a possibility to reduce the size, thus to run the game not full screen but from a window maybe or something like that....

Why does this game take so much space? It's a game from from 1994! Back then 25 MB was a lot, no PC in all of existence even had 1.2 GB of HDD memory. UFO Enemy Unknown (original X-COM) released on same year takes ~17 MB, this has no buisiness taking more than 30 MB....

Playing on Hard, on day 3 I had 9 sectors but I lost 3 of them due to endless emeny attacks. I think they attacked me 6 times within one day and most importantly unlike JA2 you do not seem to know when and where the attack is about to happen. Also guards do not help, my max limit of guards was 16, so only 2 sectors could be fully protected. Spreading guards is pointless, they always lose if they do not have a numbers advantage. I even tried to savescum and send guards to a sector that is about to be atta...

Already said in other threads, but I want to utterly highlight it. In this steam "gold" edition, difficulty has been greatly increased, compared to how it used to be in the regular game. I was quite skilled in the original dos game, able to win at difficult with little effort. Now, not even at normal, but at Easy... I say "at EASY", the THIRD day..... just the THIRD DAY!!!!
