Emi Ibarazaki my beloved.

When I was younger this game saved my life, easily one of the most beautiful works of fiction ever created.

This game has been absolutely amazing genuinely so good it literally changed my perspective on life. It helped me realise certain things i wanted in life and a lot of my own shortcomings and how to improve myself especially the rin route(which im still processing i dont know if it's my favourite or least favourite it feels weirdly transient for me). I usually rank visual novels on how many existential crisises they give me and this did at least 3(not hyperbole or exaggeration)so I couldn't recommend it more.
On a side note hisao and his struggle with suddenly discovering a disability after a relatively normal life all the changes the reluctantcy to change the difficulty accepting it all the meds was frighteningly realistic ive never seen my feeling be reflected so perfectly in a piece of fiction. This game just felt right man. Best birthday present in a long time which is weird to say about a free game.
