I have unlocked the monk in the story, but I don't see him. When I start a new game, I can see all classes, but not the monk. Can anyone help me?

How do I save the game? I have been playing for a few hours and my computer crashed and I reload the game and there is just no save file at all? I check the menus and there is just zero save feature whatsoever? Only option is "Save and Quit" But I dont want to quit i want to keep playing??
