probably has one of the best sound design ive ever heard in liminal space the megalomania/phobia sections really brings out the best of the sound design this game has. but aside to that, this feels like another generic liminal space game that are available everywhere. but with a few twist. the story was ambiguous so its ok if you didnt understand it but still the final section with a living heart could suggest anything something someting about liminal spaces being alive and consuming people who got trapped something

i think its worth it. but maybe since this is short, i suggest to buy it on sale

I wanted to love Liminalcore but there are a few issues with the game that need to be fixed or explained. First, there are a bevy of optimization & graphical issues, from a lack of rendering to frames dropping constantly & consistently (even with an RTX 4060 & Ryzen 7). Then, there's the false marketing. The trailer shows off a space with houses that wraps around for what looks like miles, if not forever, that doesn't appear in the game. Also with the gameplay, the lack of speed from sprint when in water is kind of ridiculous (especially in the last chapter). Lastly, the "lore:" it's extremely vague & somewhat nonsensical. I enjoyed a few of the unsettling & disturbing moments with figures that move & vanish, inhuman sounds & guttural bellows that cascade from the darkness, but it doesn't change the blatant shortcomings.

I'm really hoping there's an update coming soon, but until there is, I would wait to buy this or grab it when it's on sale.

I was looking foward to play this game but unfortunately it is too dark to be playable, unlike shown in the pictures and trailers. I found out this is just a problem with the game itself that happens to some players.
I wish I could give this a positive review but until the devs fix this issue I'd recommend not buying Liminalcore, and if you do, check immediately if you have this problem so you can still refund the game.
