Slight spoilers ahead. I have the navigators head from the natives, and entered the catacombs under the big monkey head. I followed the head, but on the next screen Guybrush appeared on the far left of the screen and I am unable to move forward, or move back. I can move up and down a small amount but cannot progress or go backwards. Is this a legitimate puzzle, or am I softlocked? Unfortunately my game autosaved just as I entered this screen and my previous manual save is back on Melee Island....

I bought and downloaded this and played it a few days ago for an hour, enjoyed it so far. Today, steam updated and I tried to play it again but each time I click on Play, something flashes on the screen then nothing - the game doesn't launch. Any ideas?

Is there a way to launch only the DOS version of SoMI? I don't like the SE, and I hate not being able to start a game with the DOS intro graphics and music. I also don't want to play with the voice-overs, such as the Talkie edition grants. If they can be turned-off in the Talkie edition, that could be a solution for me. I just want to play the DOS VGA version, from start to finish....
