This game is a very good nostalgic RPG but the random crashes are just too much and too often........ imagine doing a late game boss battle on hard mode on which takes about IRL 30 to 40 mins to beat you carefully strategized on every factor and having a bit of luck on your side also. You see the steam achievement pop up after beating it and immediately after that your game just out of the blue crashes with no explanation of error message whatsoever..... Don't buy the game on steam and save yourself the frustration of wasting your time on multiple occasions. If you really want to play it I suggest you buy it on console in hopes of a more stable gameplay. People who finished this game on steam with the crashes happening this frequently must have the patience of a shaolin monk.

The lead up to the final boss feels like a way to make the game longer. But overall a stand up RPG with a good plot.
The HD Remaster misses the mark a lot. Textures flicker, especialy with in the field items. Most cut scenes were not re-rendered in a higher def so many parts of the game look very fuzzy.
