+ the ship building is fun
+ the decal system is easy to use, so cool ships are not hard to make
+ the combat feels smooth (most of the time)
+ the conquest mode is super fun and can be long or short
+ there is a difficulty mode for everyone

cons
- combat can be boring sometimes
- the battlespace is kinda small late game
- landships are annoying to use, as trees stop some designs from moving during a battle (just use legs or tracks with a ram to avoid this)

overall, small cons and big pros, fun game

This game is incredible. The building mechanic is fun and is quite expansive with mods. The combat can be a little jarring at times but it just takes getting used to and it still adds a lot to the game. I don't really write reviews but I have been obsessed with this game since I started playing. The genre is also very interesting and creative, and explaining it with the descriptions of all of the nests is a nice touch. My only complaint would be that the diplomacy is a little stale and I feel the reputation is a little difficult if you are isolationist but I guess you could say it makes sense. I also don't know what all the DLC adds but I believe it works on the diplomacy a bit so I am eager to explore it.

I absolutely love this game. Reminds me of exactly the sort of thing I used to daydream about. Building the airships and groundships is a great time, and the game allows for a ton of versatility and creativity in the designs.
