First of all - the artstyle and atmoshpere are great. What these devs managed to show is very impressive, I'm totally sold on it - we need more weird and surreal settings in RPGs. The world has a lot of verticality to it and exploring is so very delightdul.

BUT also the game has some problems. The combat is OK and the alignment system is cool, but I experienced a bug (as far as i'm concerned), which makes melee weapons much less usable: they started depleting stamina like crazy, don't think that it was the intended way. That made fighting a lot less enjoyable.

Also the game lacks much needed sound effects: quite a few times the music stopped playing - and then I had to play in complete silence. Ambient noises, footsteps, swings, all that sort of things that make the game more immersive - are absent. Hope the sound design would be reworked in the future.

Also the enemy & weapon variety is really lacking - kind of expected from such a small project, I know. But if there was at least like two more types of enemies - this small demo would be SO much better. Because at the current state all combat encounters are pretty much the same.

But overall it is a really promising demo and I was quite impressed by it. Hope that the devs will keep cooking.

This game has some great bones!

It's a little sparse, but that's to be expected for a free demo. I can't wait to see what the full release looks like. Hopefully I won't have to wait long.
