Terrible port of a game

You can't dodge, roll, target lock and all you can do is walk while in combat.. Worse design ever for a game. No excuse.

Looking for help - Game runs perfectly but Lighting movement has stutters

Hey guys, game is beautiful here, running with no problems, but when moving the main character, Lighting, as the player it seems like the game recognizes my controller analog stick as WASD on keyboard. Anyone know a fix for that? I would highly appreciate that, it is really weird for everything else to be moving smoothly but the character you are controlling the whole time to move so bizarre. Thanks! EDIT: Problem persists but I noticed it only happens for Variable frame rate, meaning that it works normal...

how is the port?

FFXIII had a garbage port when it was released and it took many years until mods were made to fix this but this game is way less popular so I don't want to buy it if there are issues with the Steam version.

I Don't Understand How Anyone Had Problems With Time

You literally have the most spammable and abusable ability (chronostatsis) at the start of the game that makes it so even the worst player can just spam almost infinitely in most situations. People have bashed on the game about it so many times in reviews and other things I have seen about it when it is literally a non issue....

I bought the FF13 bundle.

Lightning is exactly who I expect her to be for a Final Fantasy protagonist.

I couldn't get into FF13 itself as it has a broken "party leader dies immediate game over" mechanic that can't be disabled, and they didn't retain the fantastic Gambit system from FF12. So, as this game seems to be a "Final Fantasy solo" game, thought that this would immediately remove some of the pain and learn from their previous success.

No, they added constant ticking time pressure as a new mechanic for this game, which completely ruins it for me. For other games with this mechanic (e.g. extra bosses for Binding Of Isaac), I've installed mods to remove them, as "gotta go fast" isn't compelling/enjoyable. Yes, the clock is incredibly generous, but it's still unnecessary in this genre.

I'm sure lots of people like this game (Mostly Positive 3741 reviews all time), but, not for me. Sorry!
