Klondike solitaire (the classic) is a more complex in-depth variant. There is no stack management aspect here. Simple single draw cards with some power ups. The only real strategy is built around getting combos. The plot is very run of the mill pride and prejudice inspired stuff. Its fine and charming enough. But its a very superficial pastiche. Drawings are nice and all but perhaps not what I want as a desktop background. A feature that was included.

Windows '98 comes with a better solitaire game for free with more variants and complexity. As a solitaire lover I was deeply disappointed as far from modernising it has simplified. The 10 pound price point is extremely high for what it is.

Regency Solitaire I is a fun variation on the pairing lower & higher cards version of Solitaire, set against nicely drawn backdrops of 1812 England. I much prefer the story of this game to the sequel, as it does a good job of sharing Bella's struggles and romance.

The store purchases improving both the look of the ballroom and the game mechanics on hand is a nice touch. Great music and sound effects.

Heh. I did find it sometimes off putting to use flashy power-ups to target and remove specific cards from the playing field, as they generally are decorated with portraits of people you're trying to help. Click. FWOOSH! :D

solitaire with a Jane Austen greatest hits plot happening in the background. the music and art fit the vibe, and it was the perfect game to play in bed before sleep. the solitaire setups were tricky but forgiving so you can complete everything without stress. had a fun time with this one and will definitely check out Grey Alien Games other solitaire releases!
