This game is notable for having maybe the greatest mechanical-depth-to-input-complexity of any game I've ever played. It's crazy how deep this game goes. I also think the puzzles are overall well-designed, and pretty "raw" in that they have 1 central idea with no padding (minus 1 or 2 stinkers that waste your time). Many times I was convinced a puzzle was impossible, only to gain the knowledge necessary to overcome it.

That said this game is not for the faint of heart -- it is for hardcore puzzle enthusiasts. It's difficult puzzles, that you can't skip, with no sugar to help the medicine go down. I played through it all without any hints as a personal challenge to myself, and found it rewarding as a challenge, but it's not a "fun" game. This game also doesn't let you skip any puzzles to advance; the merits of that are debatable, but I think the rigidity hurts the game.

If you consider yourself a puzzle game enthusiast, I recommend it on sale, but I do recommend it. $30 is pretty steep considering it's a relatively ugly no-frills experience that curb stomps you relentlessly.

I can't believe that I've beaten this game. That was so difficult, but without question the most well-designed puzzle game I've ever played. Every single puzzle brings something new to the table, and they're all so simple. Some of the hardest puzzles have the most elegant solutions.

10/10. Increpare, you're a mad genius.

Starts off exceptional but the final hours were unbelievably disappointing, like someone else entirely took charge of the game. Nevertheless I have to give a positive review because aside from those, it's an exceptional quality. If you don't count the bad levels, it's up there with Baba and Wormholes.
