Game needs boats

They should add some (for purchase ingame) ocean boats with the new map coming in the summer so the game isn't pay gated.

DLC licenses

I bought a DLC package that came with a bunch of seven day licenses for various locations. Once I downloaded the package, the licenses immediately activated. Is there a way to postpone license activation on a per-location basis? I thought I'd be able to spend 7 days at each location, but that's not the case. At most I spend a day or two at each so I don't lose out on the other ones....

Gave this game a try again, spent money and was reminded day 2 of why I stopped supporting them.

I was excited to start trolling and play on a boat with friends finally so I bought the Japan pack and then quickly realized why I stopped supporting this game and company mindset. There are no boats that you can buy with credits to fish with friends or troll... You have to spend $40-60 on it. I would much prefer to have a kayak I can troll around some of the smaller lakes in rather than a giant salt water boat. It's excluding so many players from enjoying an extremely wanted and popular way of fishing too...

This is a great fishing game. However like Guild Wars 2 its a money pit. Everything cost, when you level up and get access to other lakes traveling to those lakes cost you plus you have to buy license for each lake. Not to mention there is over $1200 of DLC and add-ons. You can easily dump $300-500 into this game in no time. So just be aware its probably one of the best fishing games but it can be costly. Wouldn't be so bad if they got rid of the travel cost and lake license fees. So you need learn to farm money. Other option is learn to enjoy staying at the beginning lake. Really wont recommend this game because of the constant fees, to travel, lake fees, equipment repair fees and on and on.
