why is it shown in my portal that the achievements are completed and when I log out in the display mode that they are not completed?

So I had a blast playing portal on my PC. My little brother saw me playing and wanted to try for himself. He owns a switch, and the portal collection is on sale for £3 at the moment, so I was thinking about getting it for him. 1 thing though: is there a way to turn the blood off on the switch version? Are there console commands to cheat if it gets hard for him? Thanks...

To be honest, Portal feels, plays and looks like a Half Life 2 mod. i'm not saying it's bad, it just looks like a Half Life 2 mod.

I tried the demo, but a bug prevents me from getting past level 10. When I enter the elevator at the end of the level, it flashes two yellow texts, which say something like server cheats = 1 and server cheats = 0 (I'm not sure that this is what they were saying, because they flashed quickly), and then the game brought me to a loading screen which doesn't actually load anything, I waited for more time there than at all other loading screens in the demo combined, but it still didn't load. Any idea how to sol...
