A great example of the thin line between a hard and a just plain bad platformer. Blaite has floaty controls, a bare bones presentation and buggy collision detection causing most deaths due to being stuck to ladders or geometry. Even the level design often highlights the design issues all in the name of difficulty.

I recommend this game. Yes i do. Did i enjoy this game? Literally every second of the experience was suffering. So no.
A lot happened during the 80 or so minutes of playtime i clocked in this game. I shouted, almost cried.

A novel and a box of gum was caught in the crossfire of a temper tantrum. A science magazine was thrown full force into the wall.

When i finally got 100% in the game, i basically had a full blown orgasm. I walked around my room for 30 minutes basically moaning. I shouted "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!" into my pillow three times. It was literally a better feeling than nutting.

The controls are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, unintuitive and trite. The levels are very straight forward, however the timing required is what make them difficult. I think i spent most of my time with Levels 15, 18 and 23 combined. Those are 90% of the difficulty in this game for some reason.

Play Blaite. (it is however, terribly designed)

However. If you have a temperament, such as myself, maybe stay away?
