i cant beat fall hazard and broken space

Anyone else having this, maybe its a bug on the second level, buti am placing one hand sometimes on something, then pressing the other mouse button, to move the other hand, and just falling at random either on the ladder on the bit before it over and over....

I tried hopping on this game to try it out with my brother the other day having never played it. After about 5 minutes we gave up trying to work out the controls and the objective. The default controller setup had one hand bound to the right bumper and nothing bound to the left - I'm guessing the guy they hired to do QA just spent his allocated 6 hours jizzing onto his keyboard instead of making sure the game shipped with at least a basic control method.
