Im currently on the quest to retrieve a part from each of the first 3 dungeons, having just used the break wall at the very start of the well to reveal the entrance to levels 4 and 5 of the first dungeon to get owlboy to give me one of the parts. I've made it to the postgame and all my puppets are at 20 SC, but the first boss there is absolutely slaughtering me thanks to spamming double Fog Lantern IV every turn. Is it similar to etrian odyssey or wizardry? I saw you can specify how your characters are created, are they more like the character creation of disgaea but with more options and controls over inital creation? Im looking for games similar to wizardry/etrian or really more games like titanquest and grim dawn but on the switch....
