Perfect game!

I feel so compelled to share my opinion on this game. I played this as a kid non-stop! It was my first experience with the open-world RPG genre and boy was amazing. The plot was amazing, the stories of the characters were captivating, the gameplay is fun, the enemies diverse, the allegiances are binding ahhh it was amazing. Once you play this you MUST play Gothic 2. It's such a wonderful sequel to this experience.

It's an old game with clunky mechanics and fighting can be tough, managing your inventory can be tough so it might not be for everyone. BUT there are community mods which deal with this. I downloaded a controller mod which really helped the fighting experience.

I - with all my bias and nostalgia - recommend this game wholeheartedly and hope people experience the same fun and joy I did. Thank you Piranha Bytes for shaping my childhood ahhhhhh I'm so happy.

Watched it because I don't have enough time to play. What Piranha Bytes created for the time is incredable.
