So I have just started playing the game for the first time. I finished OPERATION FLASHPOINT / ARMA COLD WAR ASSAULTS yesterday and I couldn't wait to finally play something newer after so many years. First mission where I actually get to shoot at someone (with a sniper rifle) and they are like feckin' bullet sponges... Even in Half-Life enemies die faster... WTF is sh1t? I came from the world where 1 or 2 bullets kills you. Mostly just 1. And what the hell is going on here!? This can't be real... can it?...

I play Arma 3 and Cold War (the first ARMA game), and I interested in picking the other games of the franchise. Is this game a good pick nowadays?

How did you manage the ambush mission ?

I have ArmA II , but couldn't finish it. It's too difficult and too long for me, however I forgot that there is still ArmA Armed Assault, is this game easier than ArmA II ?
