Wonky achievements

It seems the achievements reset, whenever you leave the game (or start it again)... I noticed Steam said I was at 3/9 while also listing the 8 achievements I had done today. I went back in the game to complete the last achievement - now Steam says I have only completed that last one....

In this game I have some issues with the controls. If I go into the options the controller stops working. I can only get back and control the menus with the mouse after that. Also I'm missing an option for camera y-axis inversion, which is normally a common thing in 3D games. I cannot play games without....

It's a huge week for everyone here at the Wired Family, with our friends at Pollard Studio launching their cinematic narrative thriller, KARMA: The Dark World - this Thursday!

KARMA is a psychological thriller set in an alternative post WW2 timeline that places you in the shoes of a ROAM agent, responsible for diving into the minds of citizens accused of crimes in order to explore their memories and unravel the truth. As soon as I gain control of the player the camera looks up and spins like crazy. I've tried playing with a controller and without. Same thing always happens. Help?
