Most sacred of games. Perhaps the first game I every played on my first computer a quarter of a century ago. Happy to see it on steam, I can only hope it will be brought back in some form since the original is quite nice.

When you get down to it.. Tzar is vastly different from the other strategy games of its era and comparisons are unnecessary. The game was created by a small Bulgarian studio in the 90's, with a lot of love and care. The UI, the icons and the music are so carefully crafted and beautiful, that everyone should definitely try it at least once. It will probably be the first game I show to my children.

I liked this game just for the soundtracks.
